Online Note Practice for Band 6 and Intermediate Strings
Instructions:
1. Choose your instrument and which exercise you will be doing. Your teachers will let you know which exercise you should be working on, please ask if you're unsure.
Flute and Mallet Percussion: #1 (Do-Sol)
#2 (Low Ti-La)
#3 (Low La-High Do)
#4 (Upper Octave)
#5 (Chromatic)
Clarinet and Trumpet: #1 (Do-Sol)
#2 (Low Ti-La)
#3 (Low La-High Do)
#4 (Clarinet - Right Hand Lower Notes)
#5 (Clarinet - Above the Break)
#6 (Chromatic)
Alto Saxophone: #1 (Do-Sol)

Trombone, Baritone and Bassoon: #1 (Do-Sol)

Violin: #1 (D-A) or #2 (D Maj) or #3 (G Maj) or #4 (E String)
Viola: #1 (D-A) or #2 (D Maj) or #3 (G Maj) or #4 (C String)
Cello: #1 (D-A) or #2 (D Maj) or #3 (G Maj) or #4 (C String)
Bass: #1 (D-A) or #2 (D Maj) or #3 (G Maj) or #4 (E String)
2. Click "Start Challenge"
3. Answer as many questions as you can in five minutes, or fifty questions (whichever comes first)
4. Once finished, click on "Last Report"
5. Use these challenge as much as you like to practice your note naming. You may count this for up to five minutes for each instrument you play, per day towards your practice card.
(The below is optional - please feel free to send us your score(s) if you would like)
6. Type your first name, last initial and advisory where it says "Student Name" (Ex: Oprah W. Adv. 31)
7. Click "Sign Report"
8. Copy the "Verification Code"
9. Email your verification code, along with your first name, last initial and advisory to [email protected]
